JanSport Lamark Review

Innovative and very boyish – these were my thoughts when I first saw JanSport Lamark backpack at an online store. Indeed, it’s design is very attractive, but it doesn’t have those certain curves and decisions that would turn Jansport Lamark into a bag for girls. I would guess it’s probably best for the boys and men of 12 years old and above.

And yes, I fell in love with this JanSport backpack straight from the moment I first saw it, and my older son wouldn’t have dreamt of a better bag, that’s for sure. Water repellant, it’s great for the bicycle runs, gym sessions and transporting lods of books to and from school :)

JanSport Lamark comes with many great features for space and comfort like two main compartments of a L size. Standard front utility pocket, which’s present in 95% of JanSport backpacks, with organizer to keep smaller things in order. Front mesh pocket for even more smaller things! :) There are also water bottle pockets on both sides. As you can see, there is everything for students and travelers alike :)

Comfort wise it is, once again, the same as most of the JanSport backpacks, meaning it IS comfortable to carry. Biovent, as they call it, S-curve shoulder straps as well as the back panel reduce shoulder and back load considerably. Less load equals less sweat and less smell :) There is also a hypalon grab handle in case you can’t or don’t want to wear the backpack the usual way.

JanSport Lamark is yet another great backpack in JanSport line of backpacks, designed with the male part of humanity in mind. From school to mountains it is made to remain durable and stylish, thus securing any man’s satisfaction :)

P.S. Although as I learned later, girls like the red styled version of this backpack very much…!

JanSport Spectrum Mesh Backpack

JanSport Spectrum backpack is probably the cutest backpack of all JanSports :) At least it is to my taste. Primarily styled for girls, it would be good for younger boys too, just as long as it’s not pink colored : )

In all honesty, this JanSport backpack just emanates that girly feeling about it. Well, it’s pink and red versions, at least. This fact would probably make it fit for ladies of 7 to 25 years of age :) Other styles look more unisex though, thus would suit boys of 7-18 years of age. I don’t see the overall style of this backpack playing along to anyone older than that. It does look like a teenage backpack, although overall design raises the upper age plank for girls.

An interesting feat of this JanSport backpack is that it is mesh at the bottom and is not reinforced, although back still has a padded panel built in for comfort. Padded shoulder straps can be adujsted for even more carrying conform and to reduce possible strain on the host’s back.

The main compartment is considerably big, allowing one to carry enough books for a day in school or even a change of clothes for gym (that’s why it’s also a great backpack for girls who like to watch out for their looks ;) . Front pocket is traditionally outfitted with an organizer and a stash pocket, allowing to keep smaller things in order.

Unfortunately this backpack is susceptible to water (not waterproof generally), thus it’s best not to get caught under a rain with it.

This JanSport backpack is also an awesome gift! :) I can’t forget the look on my daughter’s face when I got this for her 8th birthday. It’s just that great a backpack :) Of course, more mature ladies can still use it for their sport endeavours, as well as it just looks nice adding to your overall look. It’s is comfortable, light and stylish, what else would you ever need in a bag?:)

JanSport Deranged Review

If style and design have meaning in your life, yet you want comfort to be number one as well then JanSport Deranged backpack is right for you. Awesome for school, a bit less awesome, but still useful, for outdoor traveling - JanSport Deranged is an awesome backpack :)

To be precise I wouldn’t recommend this JanSport backpack to anyone over 30, probably because this backpack was created with younger generation in mind. Of course, everything is up to your own sense of style and taste, but it’s design is innovative and approach to it’s style is engaging. Just what young people like :) From my point of view it would be a great pick for anyone intersted in street fashion.

Functionality isn’t too much different from what Jansport usually has to offer. There is one main compartment for books or other important things and an internal sleeve for a 15″ sized laptop. A V-loft pocket has an accessory organizer to keep all the essential tools in order, so you want to have to go through all the things in your backpack looking for something small and important. There are also two external pockets for small things if you don’t want to keep them inside. Pretty handy for ID cards and things like that.

Comfort wise this JanSport backpack stands in the same line as all the other Jansport bags. It’s light and doesn’t strain your shoulders with it’s S-curved shoulder straps.

JanSport Deranged is a good bag for ages of 12 to infinity, offering an unusual design and enough functionality. It’s not big, thus making it a good backpack for younger teens, but this might be a problem for travellers, and using it as a main travel backpack is not recommended. For schools and air/train/bus trips this backpack is perfect though.

JanSport A-Train Review

Messenger bags are great for both work and school, and Jansport A-Train messenger bag is no exception to this. Stylish look and enough space for your laptop and all your bags to fit in. And the kids who are hardcore gamers would be surprised with the laptop sleeve on this bag – making it a great partner to take to the e-sports events.

I probably wouldn’t lie if I said that this is the bag my husband loves most, as they’ve been unseparable for more than a year now. From home to work, from work back home :)

Water repellant (although not entirely) and spacious messenger bag from JanSport has good looks and comfort of a very expensive bag for ten times less the price! :)

JanSport A-Train messenger bag has two main compartments which can fit a considerable amount of things inside, be it books and papers or some accessories for your work or gaming. Deluxe organizer pocket allows you to keep smaller things easily ogranized and accessible per need.

Important thing about this messenger bag is the computer space it allows. You can store a little bit more than a 17″ laptop inside, and most of the high-end business and gaming computers are 17″ – 17.4″ in size. Additionally, other compartments can be ‘fed’ with additional computer accessories, like headphones, mouse and mousepad, essentially turning A-Train into a perfect bag for business and presentation meetings or esports tournaments and gaming events (we all knows kids today love them :) .

Stylistically this bag might not shine as much as the other JanSport backpacks, but I feel it is a positive thing about this bag.  Strict design principle keeps this bag ‘in line’ and allows you to use it as an actuall business bag, thus making it available to a broader range of consumers.

As is the case with Driver 8, this bag is a little bit pricey, but after looking around the stores I was unable to find anything similar in quality for the same price. Any of the comparable bags are much more expensive (from 1.5 to 3 times).

JanSport A-Train messenger bag is a good ‘many purpose’ bag, which can accompany you to school or work and wouldn’t look flashy at all, yet allow you to carry many important things in a stylish and comfortable way.

JanSport Driver 8 Review

Although JanSport Driver 8 backpack is advertised as a school backpack I’m not entirely sure how fitting it would look on campus. Perhaps the only ‘right’ application for it will be moving a load of books from library and back :)

As a travel backpack though, it does amazing things.

If you have a long bus, train or plane trip ahead of you and there are many things you can’t live without, then probably this rolling backpack is best, regardless of if you’re a boy or a girl :)

Three compartments allow for enough storage, plus you can separate clothes from toilet accessories and electronics. Padded laptop sleeve allows you to carry up to a 15″ laptop, although a bit of a bigger one would fit (15.4″) but that would take away a little bit of space from the other compartments. You can easily store important papers in documents in the gear pocket, allowing for easy on-the-fly recovery the moment you need them. There is a side bottle pocket, which allows for convenient water bottle storage, when you need it for yourself or your children :) .

The backpack is easy to steer and pull, especially if it’s not too loaded :) Handle itself is easily retractable and well manufactured. It doesn’t feel slippery and gives out an aura of confidence that this bag is well made! :) Another good thing about this JanSport backpack is that when it’s impossible to roll it, you can easily clip the shoulder straps and carry it like a normal backpack, which allows for getting through the crowds hands full so much easier :)

It’s size is just about right to fit many essential things in, and it easily passes for a carry on luggage in the airports.

Fashion-wise, while this JanSport backpack is available in about five or six different color styles, most stores carry about two or three, so perhaps you’d want to check around several stores for not only the best price but also the style you like.

As a disadvantage I have to note this backpack’s relatively high price. On the other hand though, this bag could serve you for many years to come, that is if you take good care of it, thus it’s price might not be such a big investment in a quality bag.

As a conclusion I’d say this is a good luggage for all sorts of travelers. Of course you would want to use this Jansport backpack‘s wheels outdoors, but with the straps clipped you can top any mountain, or relax at any picnic! :)
